The GY-273 module is based on the Honeywell HMC5883L IC for low-field magnetic sensing with a digital interface for applications such as low cost compassing and magnetometry. The HMC5883L includes state-of-threat, high-resolution QMC118X series magneto-resistive sensors plus an ASIC containing amplification; automatic degaussing strap drivers, offset cancellation, and a 12-bit ADC that enables 1° to 2° compass heading accuracy. The I2C serial bus allows for an easy interface.

GY-521 ADXL335 Module 3-axis Analog Output Accelerometer The HMC5883L is a small, thin, low-power, complete GY-273 HMC5883L Magnetometer  with signal conditioned voltage outputs. The HMC5883L Module 3-axis Analog Output Accelerometer measures acceleration with a minimum full-scale range of ±3 g.
